My task for this project was to create a logo, packaging, as well as an array of marketing material for a joint-health product. The design language needed to fit seamlessly with other products in the client's nutritional line.
This client came to me with a very tight deadline after he'd already worked with one designer on the job, but was not happy with the product. I created two half-page magazine advertisements, as well as a poster and postcard for his upcoming event in Oakland, CA.
This product design was just a small fraction of a large rebranding excercise. Working with an odd bottle shape and an unpredicatable heat-shrink sleeve were both challenges I had to overcome during the design process for this nutritional drink.
The logo and packaging for this dual anti-aging skin serum needed to embody hi-end skin care, while fitting seamlessly with GIA's existing line of anti-aging/beauty products. The HydraGem logo conbines an abstract leaf & water drop to reflect the organic nature of product, as well as hydration. The design uses minimal typography in 2 colors, screen printed directly on the smoked glass bottles.
I am a designer based in Carlsbad, California. I offer unique and creative design solutions over a broad range of medias. At one previous job, my boss used to tell me (typically while asking me to facilitate a project outside my areas of expertise), "sometimes we all have to wear different hats around here..." Well, I'm proud to say I've collected a whole lot of hats throughout my 12 years of experience.
Tell me a little bit about your project. Is your deadline 2 weeks away or did you need it done YESTERDAY? Do you have any unique requests? Are you on a tight budget?
